POPPENHUSEN

Saturdays  (except for holiday weekends) the Poppenhusen Institute will be open for guided tours. Visit the kindergarten room, Victorian Hall, old village jail cells and current exhibits, including the “September 11 Memorial,” “College Point Then and Now” and the “Native American Exhibit.” 10-2. 358-0067.

ISAMU NOGUCHI

Thursdays to Mondays  free public tours of the Isamu Noguchi Garden Museum at 2. 204-7088, ext. 203. Tour explores specific works in the exhibition, focusing on the wide variety of materials and approaches employed by Noguchi.

KING MANOR

Thursdays and Fridays  12-2, Saturdays and Sundays  1-5. Half hour tours of southeast Queens’ oldest house and home to Founding Father Rufus King. $5 adults, $3 seniors, students, $2 children 4-13, family $12. King Manor Museum, Jamaica Avenue and 150/153rd Streets. 206-0545.
