Known as the restaurant that is “South Of The Border,” Taco Bell has taken over the northern territory in the Queens area just the same. With a location right at the intersection of Utopia Parkway and Northern Boulevard, Taco Bell has been serving up fast food goodness for quite a while.
Recently, the Northern Boulevard location announced that it will remain open throughout the week until 4 a.m., allowing late-night taco lovers to stuff their faces.
Taco Bell’s value meal is certainly a great choice, as there are a number of delicious combinations to choose from. The menu features several items generally priced below $1.49. The value menu brought new items to the restaurant’s offerings, notably the new dessert, the Caramel Apple Empanada.
Items that can be bought on the value meal include the Grande Soft Taco, the Double Decker Taco, the Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito, the Beef Combo Burrito, the Beef and Potato Burrito, the Spicy Chicken Soft Taco, and Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes.
Once you grab hold of your purple tray after placing your order with the capped employee behind the counter, you can have a number of delicious items placed down right before your hungry eyes. It is a good idea to start off with Taco Bell’s version of pizza or a nice thin quesadilla.
A favorite of those who don’t eat any meat items is the Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito, which is truly a stomach filler. Bean lovers will certainly enjoy the rich taste of the burrito, recently accompanied by cheese and rice to add more flavor.
Added to the official menu in early 2006 is the Crunchwrap Supreme, Taco Bell’s latest permanent product. Others might catch the Ultimate Chalupa, which is available for a limited time. It is a chalupa with chicken or steak, sour cream, lettuce, guacamole, a three-cheese blend, and fiesta salsa.
One new item that the Taco Bell on Northern Boulevard has been promoting is the Ranchero Chicken Soft Taco. This will certainly give a great deal of joy to chicken lovers all over with its ranch flavor.
So be sure to go “South Of The Border” on Northern Boulevard next time you’re looking for a taco fix.
