Savannah Restaurant has a bar setting and customers dine in dimly a lit atmosphere. The restaurant also boasts a full bar for those who prefer just to order drinks and some finger food.

There is a large selection of appetizers to choose from including fried chicken liver ($6), lamb kebab ($7), batter fried broccoli or cauliflower ($7) or fried chicken wings to name a few.

The menu boasts a variety of fried rice, chicken dishes, beef dishes, chop suey and seafood. Customers can order vegetable fried rice ($4, $7), chicken fried rice ($4.50, $8), beef fried rice ($4.50, $8) and barbecued chicken fried rice ($4.95, $8.50.)

Chicken dishes range from $5.50 to $10 and include chicken in the ruff (which is fried chicken served with French fries), chicken in soy sauce, chicken in black bean sauce and chicken with broccoli.

Looking at the menu one would think that this is your typical Chinese restaurant, but the dishes are West Indian flavored.

If beef is what your palette craves you can choose from beef with mushrooms, beef with black bean sauce, beef with onion and garlic sauce or beef with Chinese vegetables. All beef dishes are priced between $6 and $11.95.

All the dishes at Savannah are served with white rice. The seafood section of the menu tempts you with red snapper cooked in black bean sauce and reasonably priced at $6 and $11, fried fish with rice ($6, $8.50), fried snapper served whole or “cut-up,” and a variety of shrimp and jumbo shrimp dishes cooked in lobster sauce $6.50 to $13).

Beverages include soft drinks ($2), juice ($3), and tomato juice ($2). Lunch specials are served daily from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for only $3.50.

Savannah offers free delivery and also offers take out catering. So for Chinese food with a difference in the seasonings and spices used to cook it, try Savannah Restaurant.
