Bank robber Sought In Two Queens Heists
Police are seeking assistance in identifying and capturing the suspect in two recent bank robberies in Queens.
The culprit struck again at a Chase Bank in Jackson Heights last Wednesday at 1:30 p.m., where he handed the teller a note and demanded cash while reaching into his coat to signal he had a weapon, although police say he has neither stated he had or produced a weapon during a robbery. He is also the primary suspect in another robbery on June 27 at a Chase Bank in Flushing, where he went through a similar routine, police said. The man is described as a male, white or Hispanic, approximately 35 to 40 years old, between 5-feet and 3-inches to 5-feet and 6-inches tall and weighing approximately 180 to 220 pounds. The man fled on foot during both robberies.
