Cops Release Sketch In Forest Hills Murder

Police are seeking the gunman in the execution-style murder of a Forest Hills dentist.

By By MICHAEL CUSENZA

Police last Friday released a composite sketch of the suspect believed to have murdered a Forest Hills dentist in front of his daughter and estranged wife on Oct. 28 in Annadale Playground.
Daniel Malakov, 34, was shot twice in the chest on a Sunday morning through a crudely made silencer fashioned out of a plastic bleach bottle wrapped several times in duct tape, police said.
Malakov’s 4-year-old daughter, Michelle, and her mother, Dr. Mazoltuv Borukhova, as well as several witnesses, were present at the time of the broad daylight shooting.
Queens Family Court decided last Friday that Michelle should remain in temporary foster care.
Police described the suspect as a white man, 48 to 52 years old, 5-foot-8, stocky build with grey hair and wearing a dark jacket and dark pants.
Police have asked the public’s assistance in the matter, and that anyone with information call Crimestoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. There is a $41,000 reward being offered. All calls will be kept confidential.
