Woman Struck By Tree Branch

On Sunday Aug. 17, police from the 104th precinct responded to calls of an unconscious woman at Fresh Pond Road and Myrtle Ave. Upon arrival officers determined that a falling tree branch struck the 38 year-old woman in the head. Emergency Medical personnel responded to the scene and transported the victim to Wyckoff Hospital. The victim was in critical condition with head trauma and the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
