Woman Arrested, Human Remains Stashed In Bucket

A Jamaica woman was arrested after human remains were found in a bucket by her mother at their Jamaica home last Thursday.

Shantaivia Johnson, 21, was charged with manslaughter after investigators determined the remains were that of an infant, possibly Johnson’s stillborn child.

Charges are tentative, prosecutors said, pending the results of a full medical examination.
