STAPLES ROBBER

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating and identifying a suspect wanted in regards to three robberies in Queens and Brooklyn.

In each of the three incidents the suspect entered a Staples Office Supply Stores, approached staff members and displayed a firearm. He then directed the workers to the safe in the manager’s office where he removed cash and fled the location. There were no injuries reported in any of the incidents.

The first two incidents took place June 16 and Aug. 23 in the 61st and 66th Precinct, respectively. The third incident took place Tuesday Sept. 8, at 7:06 a.m. at 91-30 Van Wyck Expressway.

The suspect is described as a black man in his 30s or 40s, about 5-foot-11 to 6-foot-1, weighing between 170 and 200 lbs.
