RAPE ARREST:

On March 6, police announced the arrest of Hendrick Ajamiseba, 32, of Flushing, in connection with the March 1 rape and robbery of a 32-year-old Asian woman inside her apartment on W 23rd Street in Manhattan. Ajamiseba, who was charged with first-degree rape and first-degree robbery and burglary, allegedly gained entry into the apartment under false pretenses, raped the woman and fled with an undetermined amount of cash. The victim was taken to an area hospital and treated for her injuries.
