| Mail Truck Kills Pedestrian:
A 75-year-old man was killed after he was struck by a U.S. Postal Service truck last week. Shakhoor Khan, was crossing Rockaway Boulevard at Farmers Boulevard just past 7 a.m. on Sunday morning when he was struck by the northbound tractor trailer. According to a release from the 105th Precinct police, “the truck did not remain on the scene.” Khan died at Jamaica Hospital later that afternoon.
