FOUND AFTER FIRE:

On March 15, at approximately 9:40 p.m., cops and firefighters responded to a car fire in the vicinity of Cross Bay Boulevard and East 6th Road in Broad Channel. After the fire was extinguished, two bodies were recovered in the rear of the 2004 Porsche Cayenne. According to published reports, one of the individuals was identified as Siaka Kone, a married father of two. Reports said Kone had been shot in the head prior to the car being set on fire. The other person had not yet been identified. The investigation was ongoing.
