CABBIE STABBED
Police are asking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for an assault. On Tuesday, Oct. 7, at approximately 2:08 a.m., a black man in his 20s was picked up by a livery cab at the corner of Parsons Boulevard and the Grand Central Parkway and requested to go to 87-10 169th St. When the cab arrived the suspect exited the vehicle and then stabbed the driver, a 42-year-old Hispanic man, numerous times about the torso. The victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital where he was treated and released.
