	1 HURT, 1 KILLED On Thursday, Oct. 8, at approximately 7:40 p.m. at the intersection of 17th Road and Francis Lewis Boulevard, police responded to a 911 call of a pedestrian struck. Upon arrival, responding officers discovered two pedestrians, 15-year-old Angela Ambrose of 166-32 17th Rd., and an 18-year-old white man unconscious and unresponsive. EMS responded and transported both pedestrians to NYHQ in critical condition where at approximately 10:35 p.m. Ambrose was pronounced dead from her injuries. A preliminary investigation determined that a white 2000 Isuzu Rodeo operated by a 65-year-old white man was traveling northbound on Francis Lewis Boulevard when it struck the pedestrians who were crossing Francis Lewis Boulevard. There was no criminality suspected, and the investigation was ongoing. [ More Blotters]
