The Whitestone Diner has developed a steady clientele over the past 15 years. They are known for having always-available, freshly prepared good food at reasonable prices from breakfast until dinner with “in-betweens” whenever.

We started with an assortment of appetizers: stuffed clams, Spanakopita and crab-stuffed mushrooms. Following this was our favorite Greek Salad (lots of feta cheese and anchovies requested) and stuffed grape leaves.

Every year, Whitestone Diner features a “Lobster Special with special lobsters” reasonably priced and prepared to your taste. We requested ours steamed. It was prepared to perfection and served along with a complete dinner (from soup to dessert and coffee) for $15.95. My partner (who likes their seafood) chose the Stuffed Flounder Athenian Style- with spinach and feta cheese.

An every day special at the Whitestone Diner is their well-stocked bar. Order the libation of your choice any time to go with your meal. Our attentive and friendly waitress, Nina, was ready with suggestions and opinions on both the food and the drinks.

Besides the great lobster dinners, the large menu offers many fish dishes, Italian specials, steak, chops and poultry all cooked to order. You can also please your palate with super sized sandwiches hot from the carving board- “open” if you wish and with sides. Also, be aware that there are special children’s meals named after the seven dwarfs (can you name them?)

Fabulous desserts (including Greek favorites) as well as soda fountain offerings are available.

Whether you want to have a power breakfast meeting with business associates, a fast lunch or a leisurely dinner with the family, owners Napoleon and Sammy and their attentive staff are always at your service.
