March was celebration month at Napoleon’s Restaurant. This is the eighth year they have been providing good food and good service to eaters for everything from breakfast to late dinner or snacks at any time.

Ordinarily we visit Napoleons at dinnertime, but this year we decided to visit for lunchtime. As usual, the place was hopping with satisfied customers and a busy serving staff. The menus (regular, lunch specials and the anniversary specials) had so many wholesome offers that it was hard to choose. On the lunch specials are an assortment of omelettes varying from The Fisherman’s — with Nova Scotia lox and onions at $7.25 — to a Sapfo with fresh broccoli, mushrooms and garlic at $6.50. We chose the fluffy Athenian (Greek) Omelette made with Feta cheese and spinach. With these lunch specials there is a choice of soup, home or French fried potatoes, toast and coffee or tea. Combination omelettes are $1 extra for eaters who can’t make up their mind.

From the Tasty Sandwich menu listing we chose a Gyro on Pita- nicely presented with a Greek Salad as well as a pickle and cole slaw on the side ($5.75 regular, $6.75 delux). The included cup of soup was a nice, hot Chicken (white meat) and Rice in a rich chicken broth. Orders from this menu also includes coffee with prices ranging from the Low Cholesterol Garden Burger ($5.95/$6.95) and Meatloaf at $6.25 to the most expensive Buffalo Burger at $7.25. Ever popular wraps can be had with a number of fillings from Chicken Caesar to a low calorie Egg White Omelette with lettuce, tomato and onion- each at $6.95. Hot sandwiches of Pastrami, Brisket or Corned Beef are available at $6.95.

There are always great choices at great prices at this popular place.

Our congratulations to George and his staff for consistently good service and best wishes for an even longer run!
