Skyline Commons, a new Lifecare Retirement Community opening in 2009 in Queens, announced the appointment of Kathi McEvoy-Crowley as the Director of Marketing.
“Skyline Commons will be an outstanding addition to a diverse and eclectic neighborhood and offer active seniors an engaging retirement lifestyle,” said Maureen Anderson, Senior Vice President of Marketing for New Life Management and Development, the senior living consulting firm for Skyline Commons. “Kathi McEvoy-Crowley will lead the marketing effort to bring this all-inclusive retirement living option to area seniors who are seeking a secure future with predictable fees in a setting where long-term care, if ever needed, will be provided right on-site.”
In an uncertain economy where the dollar seems to buy less and less these days, Skyline Commons has a new pricing program that offers a significant value. In response to many New York seniors seeking a solid plan for retirement, Skyline Commons is offering individuals 62 and older the nation’s most popular retirement option, Lifecare, with more affordable entrance fees, higher refundability plans with significant tax benefits and the overall protection of personal assets.
“I feel privileged and excited to join the Skyline Commons team at this time,” McEvoy-Crowley said. “This is such a wonderful opportunity to be part of the only Lifecare Retirement Community in the City of New York, especially as it prepares to open.”
McEvoy-Crowley has a wealth of marketing and sales experience, with a long and successful track record of working with and supporting seniors. She is relocating from Western New York to the Queens area with her family.
When completed, Skyline Commons will be an urban oasis with 143 one- and two-bedroom apartments. The community will offer a full array of services and amenities including a gourmet restaurant, café/bistro, cocktail lounge, day spa/salon, state-of-the-art fitness center, aquatic center with indoor pool and sauna, library, computer lab/business suite, wellness center, rooftop garden, greenhouse with gardening opportunities and much more.
Margaret Tietz and Rehabilitation Center, the not-for-profit sponsor of Skyline Commons, is part of the Beth Abraham Family of Health Services and has provided Queens with superior levels of care on a multi-faceted basis for 35 years.
