Woodhaven Library to Close for Renovation
By Luis Gronda
The Woodhaven library will be closed beginning on March 8 for a number of renovations that will occur to the building.
According to Queens Public Library, the Woodhaven branch will see several improvements made to that location, including a new circulation desk, a fully automated 24/7 self check-in and a new ADA-compliant bathroom.
The library is expected to reopen this summer. There will be a temporary space will open in Late March in the lower level of the Woodhaven branch.
Residents looking for a fully functional library can visit the three closest branches to the Woodhaven location, which are 78-60 73rd Place in Glendale, 98-27 Metropolitan Avenue in North Forest Park and 118-14 Hillside Avenue in Richmond Hill.
